I am worried to wear white, is the white see-through?
No! Our fabric is the perfect shade of off-white, and all of our swimsuits are double-lined and do not show through wet or dry. This also gives more support to the suits and they remain to shape and hug your body even after being wet.
How do I care for my swimsuit?
- It is suggested to only hand rinse in cold water to wash using dye-free soap, and do not use bleach.
- You should not put in the dryer, and only air dry in shade laying flat. Drying your swimsuits in the dryer could cause damage to the fabric and the gold alloy.
- Do not twist or ring fabric out after washing as this stretches the fabric, let your suit air dry.
- Do not leave wet to dry, without being thoroughly rinsed out first.
- Do not spray any lotions or oils on fabric.
- We highly suggest that you do NOT wear self-tanner with your swimsuits, as for any light colors or white fabrics, there is the possibility it will transfer and potentially stain your suit likely turning spots where it stains, pink. Although we do not recommend this as it risks staining your swimsuit, if you do, our best advice is to immediately spray your swimsuit with stain remover (we recommend OxiClean Max Force) and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes and then rinse out with cold water and following wash instructions as recommended, and repeat if necessary. If you allow it to sit, you are less likely to be able to remove the discoloration. We are not responsible for any staining or will not accept returns or exchanges due to this, and is advised at your own risk.
- Be mindful of the water you're going in, it is recommended to avoid any with harsh chemicals (chlorine) or strong detergents to maintain the fit and quality of your swimwear.
Are you true to size?
Due to the fabrics used and different designs of each suit, we use our standard sizing guide, but recommend to check the measurements and reviews as each bikini can slightly vary due to design and being made by hand. You can visit the size guide linked under the swimsuit galleries or directly here. Any questions, feel free to reach out directly and our experts can help you select the perfect size and swimsuit for your body type.
What fabrics do you use?
We use Eco Friendly 6.6 Amni Soul Eco® which is 90% polyamide and 10% spandex. The fabrics are OEKO TEX certified with 50+UV protection.
You have gold rings and logos on your swimsuits, do they wear overtime?
Nope! The gold is Alloy Gold which is a bright yellow/gold base with a heavy gold and silver metallic. This color is a hybrid metallic powder coat and has a satin finish. To prevent oxidation of the metallic pigment and to avoid UV fading, a clear top coat is added in production. Gold alloy plating is much more wear-resistant and it can stand up to a much higher level of abuse than pure gold plating.
You mentioned your swimsuits are biodegradable, what does this mean?
Amni Soul Eco®, the world's first polyamide yarn with additives to accelerate its decomposition in landfills, has now been improved to also reduce the environmental impact of microplastics generated in laundry that end up in marine environments.
ACCELERATED DEGRADATION
Its special composition facilitates, in anaerobic landfill conditions, access and digestion of waste material by bacteria, accelerating the degradation process.
AMNI SOUL ECO® is eliminated from the planet in approximately 5 years, while other fibers take decades to decompose.
AMNI SOUL ECO®, like other degradable products, once in landfill it decomposes into organic matter (biomass) and biogas which can be exploited as new resources for the environment and also for the cogeneration of electricity.
What makes this fabric so nice?
Which tops can have padding added?
Currently tops that have options to insert padding are Kate, Cindy, and Linda. Our one-piece Helena also has the option to insert padding. All other suits do not have padding placement, but our bust boostie's (coming soon) can be inserted in all swimsuits.
